The developers and providers of online casino games NetEnt and ReelPlay have announced that they are joining together to assert and strengthen their rights in relation to their respective InfiniReels and Infinity Reels franchises.
In accordance with the terms of the long-standing alliance of two strong companies, NetEnt and ReelPlay intend to work together to expand and protect their brands jointly.
NetEnt will soon launch the first InfiniReels game, Gods of Gold InfiniReels, on May 14th.
InfiniReels mechanics are the latest innovation introduced by the Swedish content developer. There will be such a possibility as an increase in the number of reels in the game of slots with each win, also in this game an infinite number of reels and ways of winning are available.
ReelPlay debuted at Infinity Reels last November, with a feature that lets you add an extra reel, re-spin, and multiplier with each spin.
The first name of the Infinity Reels slot machine – El Dorado Infinity Reels – appeared on the market in November 2019. Also at the beginning of the same month, the next game was launched – Giza Infinity Reels. The third name ReelPlay Infinity Reels – Odin Infinity Reels – is scheduled for June 2020.
Partnership is a logical step
Commenting on his partnership with ReelPlay, Bryan Upton, director of Games at NetEnt, said that since both companies clearly followed the same ideas independently, “it made sense for us to come together to strengthen our unique offerings in a highly competitive market” .
Mr. Upton praised and thanked their partner for “innovative approach and cooperation with us in these dynamic times.”
David Johnson, commercial director of ReelPlay, added that they are pleased to have agreed to work “with such a reputable global pioneer as NetEnt.”
ReelPlay was founded in 2014 as Chance Interactive, but was renamed in 2019. Slot Studio is located in Sydney, Australia. The company is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission to supply its content to UK gambling operators and content aggregators, but its portfolio is also available in many other markets.
Swiss and Colombian debut for NetEnt
News of NetEnt’s partnership with ReelPlay came shortly after the Swedish company announced that it had introduced its content in two new regulated markets.
In early April, NetEnt announced that it received ISO 27001 certification, which allowed it to enter the Swiss online gambling market and deliver its content to online casinos with a local license.
